Introducing Care for Kids: The Essential Guide to Preparing Caregivers
More children die every year from preventable injuries than from all childhood illnesses combined. That is a scary fact for parents and caregivers! But, there is a solution for you! Care for Kids: The Essential Guide to Preparing Caregivers, is a DVD tutorial/information source designed to educate caregivers about common emergencies while showing them the tools they need to help children avoid preventable injuries and react accordingly when accidents do happen...
A Mother Generally Knows Best
Care for Kids: was created by a mother
who worked in the pediatric unit of a prominent San Francisco hospital
and saw first hand what can happen when caregivers are not educated
about common emergencies. By using the insightful supervision of Dr.
Wayne Warrington, an emergency department physician, to ensure accuracy
and authenticity in the development of this product, a reliable and
accurate tool is now available for caregivers.
Care for Kids: The Essential Guide to Preparing Caregivers is
quite simple and easy to understand with a short 35 minutes span to
help educate you to be prepared and in full understanding of what to do
in case of a medical emergency. Also included are valuable tips from an
experienced mother with a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy about
car seat safety, common sense, emotional well being and constant
supervision techniques.
A Common Concern
It is a common concern for all
caregivers to be up to par on their knowledge of proper procedures for
care giving. A prominent issue all the same is the burden or what is
referred to as "burnout" out for a caregiver. It is a serious effort
for a caregiver. Quite often the caregiver is a loved one of a patient
or close friend attending to the needs of a patient.
Results of a 2006 study by the Carers National Association
indicated that one of every two caregivers had financial burdens and
that two of every three were in ill health themselves (2). Other
studies show that (1) a large majority of caregivers have experienced
fatigue, frustration, and stress as a result of caregiving, (2) two
thirds believe that caregiving has put a strain on their marriage, and
(3) one fourth have felt despair as a result of the caregiving
experience (2).
When you take the results of these surveys and consider the
potential threat that they imply, it is clear to see all the more that
the importance of having a full understanding of caregiving is
absolutely vital. Without it, the probability of "burnout" is raised
greatly and can be an almost sure bet it will occur. Care for Kids: The
Essential Guide to Preparing Caregivers delivers the information needed
to help deal with this concern and at a more affordable price.
Real-Life Experience
Care for Kids: The
Essential Guide to Preparing Caregivers proved to be an interesting
item in our consumer evaluation portion of our review. The testing was
completed in three different locations;
- A home in Las Vegas, NV where a man was a stroke victim being cared for by his wife.
- A home in San Antomino, TX where a woman had a pulmonary issue and was under her sister's care.
- A home in Brooklyn, NY where a pastor of church was taking care of his wife after a serious car accident.
Under the circumstances, it was obviously a challenge to try and
do our evaluation in a short period of time but we have to do our best
to provide an accurate review within 30-45 days on the average for some
products and services. This study was carefully put together, and we
were able to find excellent real-life situations with the help of a
local physician who put us in contact with these people to conduct our
study and testing.
The end result with the completion of our testing was quite good.
All three caregivers expressed consistent opinions of having learned
much from using Care for Kids: The Essential Guide to Preparing
Caregivers. The caregivers in Brooklyn and San Antonio both expressed
an avid interest in learning more from additional sources. When queried
what they felt prompted them to desire to learn more, they both made it
quite clear that it was influenced by the usage of Care for Kids: The
Essential Guide to Preparing Caregivers.

- The marketing value with Care for Kids: The Essential Guide to
