Tamiflu Causing Odd Behavior in Kids |

Today, a report was released that implicated the anti-flu drug Tamiflu (and other flu medications like Releza and amantadine) in several cases of children exhibiting odd behavior (do I sound like a news reporter or a Saturday Night Live News Anchor?) Officials have recommended that if your child comes down with bird flu and you have to give him or her Tamiflu, keep a close eye on him or her for strange behaviors like jumping off of buildings. Don't be surprised to find him or her hallucinating or suffering delirium either. I recommend washing your hands often, using all natural anti-bacterial spray on your hands throughout the day, teaching children to cover their mouths with their elbow when coughing or sneezing, eating a balanced diet and getting at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep every night (for adults, more for kids). So, there you have it.
