More Fun Ideas for Toddler Gifts this Holiday PDF Print E-mail

                                       Aquadoodle draw n'doodle

We are heading quickly into holiday season now, so it is time to start gathering ideas for those holiday gifts.  Many of us are working within a budget these days, so I thought I would share with you a few winners that have been popular in my home these past few months and that will fit nicely into anyone's budget.

Bath time is always a fun experience in our home, but for many parents, their little tots hate to get cleaned up!  If you have a tot that hates the bath (or even one who loves it) I have just the solution for you...  My daughter asks for this every time we even go near the bathroom now and my 7 and 9 year olds are hooked too!

What is it?  The Spin Master Kid Kleen Bath Blizzard.  Basically, it is a bubble bath maker that hangs over the spout and with the magic of some soap and a fan, it makes a big fun bubble bath in seconds.
Kids love playing with this toy and will ask for it again and again (I can personally attest to this).  The Bath Blizzard is well worth the $19.99 and you will get your money's worth the first time you use it!  **Don't forget, never leave your child unattended in the bath, even for a moment!

Now that we are thinking about water... the next idea I have for you is the Aquadoodle Draw N' Doodle .  I love this mat because it does not involve any mess!  Personally, I love any toy that makes my kids feel like they are making a mess, but that doesn't involve a lot of clean up on my end.  With the Aquadoodle, all you do is lay the mat out, fill a little water in the fun pen and let your toddler draw to his or her heart's content. It is a fabulous activity for hot summer days or even those cold rainy (or snowy) days inside because most kids love to play with water and this will let them do it over and over again.

As an added bonus, there are cute little drawing instructions on the side of the mat for older kids to draw (my 7 year old LOVED making the dog character) and this makes a perfect gift because it will only set you back about $22.  Not bad for a toy that keeps the kids entertained and your home clean!

So, last but not least... let's not forget about keeping our little ones safe!  The Secrets of the Safety Goddess: A Modern Safety Guide for Busy Parents is not only a must-have for every parent, but it is a great read for grandparents, nannies and teachers as well!  It fits nicely into stockings and makes a great coffee table book for those who want a cute addition to their livingroom.  If you are looking for a chic, but sensible gift for a new (or experienced) parent this holiday season, pick up a copy or ten of these gems for only $14.95 each!  This book helps parents to check in with common sense and make sure they are thinking safely.

Stay tuned for more gift ideas from the Safety Goddess!  I will be updating with gift ideas and safety tips at least every week!  Wishing you much love, happiness and safety this holiday season!
