Britt Michaelian, CEO and Founder of Responsible Family CompanyBritt Michaelian

As a young mother, Britt Michaelian often found other parents asking for her advice about child safety, discipline, parenting issues and family resources, particularly while she was working in the pediatric unit of California Pacific Medical Center, a San Francisco based hospital. It was after her second daughter was born and she completed her Masters degree, that a business idea grew out of her practical family knowledge.

With a background in art , a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and as a mother of three, Britt has built a solid foundation for Responsible Family Company.  During a two year period, she researched the best safety methods and practices and used her creative skills to write, direct and produce the award winning video Care for Kids: The Essential Guide to Preparing Caregivers with the help of Dr. Wayne Warrington.  This program is designed to prepare caregivers in the event of a medical emergency while adding helpful tips and practical information.

Britt has spent the past few years speaking to parents at schools and community centers while appearing on radio programs such as Mom Talk Radio  and television shows like ABC's The View From the Bay.   She is a proud member of Ladies Who Launch and is seen as an expert in the fields of responsible parenting, child safety, parent/child bonding, caregiver preparation, entrepreneurship and family/life balance.

On any given day, you will find Britt developing innovative products and services for Responsible Family, consulting with and coaching other family based businesses, creating and exhibiting art, networking with other up-and-coming entrepreneurs and spending as much quality time as possible with her three daughters, husband, and friends.
